About Linda Keiles

About Me

Linda Sunshine Keiles, Owner

Independent Educational Consultant

Linda Keiles has been an educator for more than 30 years, beginning her career in Los Angeles Unified School District as an elementary school instructor. She spent 17 years at the JCC in Long Beach, where she enjoyed working with a diverse, dynamic community as the director of early childhood education, afterschool care, teen and family programs, summer camps, and youth sports, sometimes all at the same time! She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Binghamton University in New York, earning a BA in Psychology with a minor in Management, and holds a California Teaching Credential.

After helping her own children through their college process, she decided that she wanted to support other students navigate the long, winding journey to college. She completed her certificate in Independent Educational Consulting through UC Irvine. Linda lives with her family in Long Beach, California and is involved as an educator at her synagogue's religious school. When she's not working with her students, Linda is most likely to be pursuing her passions for reading, writing, and photography. She looks forward to helping a new generation of students pursue their college dreams.

About Eve Lunt

Eve Lunt Headshot.jpeg

Eve Lunt

Independent Educational Consultant

Eve Lunt’s history in both the entertainment industry and non-profit world brings a real-world expertise to the college counseling provided by Keiles College Consulting. After graduating from UCLA with a degree in Fine Arts, she worked for a decade as a producer and studio manager at deGraf/Wahrman, Colossal Pictures, Touchstone Pictures, and Protozoa, helping bring cutting edge motion capture animation and software technology to television, live events, theme park rides and Oscar nominated films.

She then segued her organizational, research, and event planning skills to her position at the Alpert JCC in Long Beach where she created programs for families and adults, ultimately serving as the Director of Jewish Life and Culture. During her tenure, she also ran the Gatov Gallery where she oversaw the Gottlieb Exhibition, an annual exhibition of the best of LBUSD visual art students. This opportunity provided the impetus to start working with high school students on their applications to visual arts, music, creative writing and theatre programs at universities and art schools. After leaving the JCC, she began working at Keiles College Consulting and completed her certificate in Independent Educational Consulting through UC Irvine. She now works with students in all fields of study, from pre-health to business, while also providing the niche expertise required by fine arts applications to those who require it. She is thrilled that she is now a partner at KCC and looks forward to what the future brings.

Eve lives in the Bluff Heights area of Long Beach with her husband, a retired high school teacher. She is also the Art Specialist at her synagogue, teaching art and culture to grades K-12.

When she has free time, she enjoys reading, going on long walks with her old dog, and working on her unfinished novel of the music and art scene in Los Angeles during the 1980’s.
